A TRAINING SESSION ON THE POLICY OF PEACE AND TRUST
On March 6, 2026, a training session on the topic “The Significance of Neutrality and Preventive Diplomacy in Promoting the Policy of Peace and Trust” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, organized by the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan under the direction of “Preventive Diplomacy”. The training session was conducted by Gadam Besherov, Second Secretary of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During his presentation, the representative of the foreign ministry paid special attention to the role of Turkmenistan’s legal status of permanent Neutrality and the tools of preventive diplomacy in advancing a culture of peace and trust on a global scale. Furthermore, the session provided a detailed overview of the practical implementation of Turkmenistan’s peace-loving initiatives proposed within the United Nations, as well as the sustainable development of cooperation with international organizations in this field.
At the conclusion of the training session, students asked questions regarding the topic and engaged in an exchange of views with the guest speaker.
