A BRIEFING ON THE OUTCOMES OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE WAS HELD
On August 9, 2025, a briefing session dedicated to the outcomes of the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), held from August 5 to 8 in the “Awaza” National Tourist Zone, was organized at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The event brought together the lecturers and students from the Institute of International Relations, the International University for the Humanities and Development, the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, and the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azady.
During the briefing, students who took part in the conference as “Young Volunteers,” “Young Promoters” and “Young Interpreters” shared their experiences. They proudly highlighted that this high-level international conference, along with its various forums and side events, not only served as a reliable platform for political, diplomatic and humanitarian dialogue, but also marked a significant step forward in strengthening regional and global cooperation, particularly in trade and economic relations, including with Turkmenistan.
Speakers emphasized that participants were selected based on their strong command of foreign languages.
The lecturers and students of the Institute of International Relations, the International University for the Humanities and Development, the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, and Dovletmammet Azady Turkmen National Institute of World Languages spoke about their contributions to the conference and shared memorable moments, including the warm impressions voiced by international guests about Turkmen hospitality. They also reflected on the relevance and long-term impact of the discussions and initiatives launched during the event.
Additionally, attendees expressed pride in the drafting of the Awaza Political Declaration and the formal launch of the Awaza Programme of Action, both considered major outcomes of the conference.
During the briefing, the students posed insightful questions to the speakers, adding to the dynamic and interactive spirit of the event.
At the conclusion of the briefing, participants expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan for creating such valuable opportunities for their participation in the conference as “Young Volunteers,” “Young Promoters” and “Young Interpreters.” They wished them long life, good health and continued success in their visionary leadership and tireless efforts for the country’s prosperity.
