THE DELEGATION OF TURKMENISTAN PARTICIPATED IN AN INTERNATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM IN SOUTH KOREA
Another important step has been taken toward developing international cooperation and enhancing the expertise of specialists. Between October 19 and 30, 2026, a delegation from Turkmenistan conducted a special study visit to South Korea to undergo professional development.
This study visit was organized by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and dedicated to the vital topic of “Capacity Building of Local Governments to Enhance Human Rights Education in Asia”. The main objective of the training program was to share the best practices in protecting human rights in the region, implementing modern management methods, and improving the efficiency of government institutions.
Our country was represented at this large-scale event by a three-member team of specialists from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Institute of State, Law, and Democracy, and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The Turkmen representatives actively participated throughout the study visit, contributing to the mutual exchange of experience and strengthening relations with relevant counterparts. Alongside Turkmenistan, representatives from countries such as the Kyrgyz Republic, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka also participated in this program aimed at strengthening regional cooperation.
During the course of the training, our representatives studied global practices and practical methodologies, further advancing their professional qualifications and practical skills in their respective fields.
