The National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan held a seminar
On November 28, 2025, as part of the project "Supporting the Auxiliary Role of the National Red Crescent Society in Humanitarian Work," a seminar on "The Humanitarian Charter and Minimum Standards of Humanitarian Impact" was held for undergraduate and graduate students studying International Law at our institute. It was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality.
During the seminar, participants learned about the activities of the global community of humanitarian workers and organizations, the quality of humanitarian aid and support for affected populations, the implementation of humanitarian principles, ensuring the rights and dignity of people in difficult life situations, and improving the quality and accountability of assistance.
The course provided a comprehensive overview of the activities and goals of the organization, which is intended to serve as a tool for planning, monitoring, and evaluating humanitarian aid programs. During the course, which featured a quiz and question-and-answer session, participants summarized the basic principles, sources, and symbols of International Humanitarian law, as well as issues related to providing assistance to civilians during natural disasters. Students who scored the best in the quiz were awarded souveniers from the National Red Crescent Society of Turkmenistan.
