AN EDUCATIONAL SESSION ON PRIORITY AREAS OF TURKMEN DIPLOMACY WAS HELD
On April 17, 2026, an educational session for Ashgabat school students was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was dedicated to the priority areas of Turkmen diplomacy: “Preventive Diplomacy” and “Energy Diplomacy”.
The session was organized by the “Young Diplomats” club of the Institute with the objective of increasing youth’s interest in diplomatic service and providing them with a deeper understanding of the key directions of foreign policy of Turkmenistan.
The session was conducted by Hemragylych Nurmammedov, Lecturer at the Department of World Languages, and Perhat Mahremov, Lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy. In their presentations, the lecturers provided the students with an in-depth overview of preventive and energy diplomacy as vital components of Turkmen foreign policy.
At the conclusion of the session, students received insightful answers to their questions regarding the role of Turkmen diplomacy in international relations. Such events contribute to the formation of a broad worldview among the younger generation, encouraging them to choose their future profession and to make a worthy contribution to strengthening the international authority of our Motherland.
