“YOUNG MESSENGERS OF PEACE”: SEASON V WAS CONCLUDED
On May 6, 2026, the final game of the V season of the intellectual competition “Young Messengers of Peace” was successfully held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The theme of the final game of the intellectual competition was titled “Independent and Neutral Turkmenistan — the Center of Peace Policy and Dialogue of Mutual Trust”. As is known, the V season of the “Young Messengers of Peace” intellectual contest, organized by the School of Young Diplomats operating within the institute and launched during the International Year of Peace and Trust, is held under the general motto “Independent and Neutral Turkmenistan — the Center of Peace Policy and Dialogue of Mutual Trust”.
More than 300 school students from various parts of our country participated in the selection test for the season. This indicates a steady increase in the number of young people wishing to participate in the intellectual competition. The V season of the competition consisted of 7 preliminary rounds, 2 semi-finals, and the concluding final game.
The following students participated in the final game of the competition:
Ayhan Arslanov, an 11th-grade student at the Specialized Boarding School named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi in Ashgabat;
Humay Danatarova, an 11th-grade student of the Specialized Secondary School No. 52 with in-depth study in the foreign languages in Ashgabat city;
Kakajan Shohradov, an 11th-grade student at of secondary school No. 9 in Sayat etrap of Lebap velayat;
Kerim Dovletov, an 11th-grade student secondary school No. 6 in Ashgabat city;
Pena Shamyradov, a 12th-grade student of the Specialized Secondary School No. 130 with in-depth study in the foreign languages in Ashgabat city;
Jeyhun Hojageldiyew, a 12th-grade student at the specialized boarding school Saparmurat Turkmenbashi in Ashgabat.
The final game of the competition was judged fairly by Begench Karayev, senior lecturer at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences; Oguljeren Hajyýewa, member of the Association of Architects and Engineers of the Turkic World of the TURKSOY international organization, Candidate of Architecture; and Toyly Hommyyew, lecturer at the Department of History of Turkmenistan at the Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
After the conclusion of the final game, an award ceremony for the winners was held in the Assembly Hall of our institute. The winners were solemnly presented with relevant Diplomas and medals from our institute, as well as souvenirs prepared by the competition sponsors—the Central Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The winner of the Grand Prize was awarded the Challenge Trophy of the competition.
The results of the final game of the V season of the “Young Messengers of Peace” intellectual competition were determined as follows:
3rd place: Humay Danatarova, an 11th-grade student of the Specialized Secondary School No. 52 with in-depth study in the foreign languages in Ashgabat city;
2nd place: Ayhan Arslanov, an 11th-grade student at the Specialized Boarding School named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi in Ashgabat;
1st place: Kakajan Shohradov, an 11th-grade student at of secondary school No. 9 in Sayat etrap of Lebap velayat;
Grand Prize and Challenge Trophy: Kerim Dovletov, an 11th-grade student secondary school No. 6 in Ashgabat city;
This further increases the significance of the “Young Messengers of Peace” intellectual competition, which is held at a high organizational level at the national school of Turkmen diplomacy. It should be noted that the “Young Messengers of Peace” intellectual competition, organized by the School of Young Diplomats established within the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan based on a special Decree of our National Leader, is one of the effective projects implemented to identify talented youth and guide them toward the profession of diplomacy.
According to the results of the four successfully conducted seasons of the contest, 37 young messengers who managed to distinguish themselves with their abilities are currently receiving higher education at the national school of Turkmen diplomacy.
The final game of the V season of the “Young Messengers of Peace” intellectual competition was recorded jointly by the “Miras” TV channel of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography and the Training Studio of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan. The competition will be presented to viewers on the “Miras” TV channel in the coming days.
