Training on SDG 8 and Macroeconomic Development for the Institute's SDG Center
On March 27, 2025, the Scientific and Methodological Center for Sustainable Development Goals of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted an optional training course focused on decent work and economic development (SDG 8). The session was led by Mayagozel Babaeva, a Senior Specialist from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan and Candidate of Economic Sciences.
She provided members of the institute's SDG Center with a detailed overview of Turkmenistan's key macroeconomic indicators and related progress. She also highlighted the significance of equipping the population with in-demand skills within a market economy and explained the concept of competitive advantage.
The training was reportedly well-received and provided students with valuable insights and answers to their inquiries.
