CONSECUTIVE TRAINING SESSIONS ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
On March 28, 2024, consecutive training sessions on Sustainable Development Goals with participation of representatives of public organizations and the cultural sphere of Turkmenistan was held at the Scientific and Methodological Center for Sustainable Development Goals of the Institute of International Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. During the training sessions, the representatives of the United Nations Office in Ashgabat and the Coordinator of the Scientific and Methodological Center for Sustainable Development Goals delivered speeches on the high importance of the initiatives put forward by our Hero Arkadag at the third Antalya Diplomatic Forum, as well as on exemplary steps on practical implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in our country. In particular, the global importance of the initiative to open the UN Regional Center for Climate Change Technologies in Turkmenistan was emphasized.
Moreover, during the training sessions the large-scale work carried out in our country to reduce the harmful effects of global climate change, as well as the goals and tasks of the United Nations were discussed.
