A Training Session with the Representatives of the United Nations in Central Asia was held
On May 12, 2025, a training session was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of the United Nations Resident Coordinators for Central Asia. The students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the winners of the Sustainable Development Goals Young Ambassadors Competition, and the participants of the Academy of Preventive Diplomacy attended the training session.
During the session, the following speakers delivered their speeches: Stephen O’Malley, UN Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Kazakhstan, Antje Kristin Grave, UN Resident Coordinator in the Kyrgyz Republic, Sabine Mahl, UN Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Parvathy Ramasmavi Kavildam, UN Resident Coordinator in the Republic of Tajikistan.
It should be noted that the accumulated experience of cooperation between the countries of the region once again confirms the importance of Turkmenistan's initiatives to promote effective tools for resolving international issues through political and diplomatic means. Beneficial cooperation of Turkmenistan with the UN and its structures, including the regional center, is aimed at jointly developing positive approaches to strengthening peace and security in the region.
