WOMAN- THE SUPPORT OF HEARTH
On January 28, 2022, a meeting was held under the title “Woman- the support of hearth” at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
An active member of the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan, respected mother Ogulnabat Ovlakova, the head of the Department of Social Sciences, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, senior lecturer Ogulgurban Ezimova and the female students and lecturers of our Institute attended the joint meeting organized by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the speakers emphasized the importance of adhering the national principles, customs and traditions of the Turkmen women since ancient times. The guest told us that girls should become the pillar and support of the hearth of their family, that is why our national handicrafts play a special role in their upbringing, which is encouraged by our grandmothers in the spirit of nationalism. She noted that our handicrafts, such as embroidery and carpet weaving and as well as the cut of our national kurte inspire our girls to stimulate the love for work. In their speeches, the speakers also underlined that women play a great role in maintaining the unity of the family hearth.
