SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE HELD ON THE DAY OF SCIENCE
On June 10, 2025, a scientific-practical conference entitled “The Role of Scientific and Technical Cooperation in Ensuring Global Peace and Sustainable Development” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the Day of Science. The lecturers, instructors and students of our institute and other representatives of scientific institutions of our country took part at the conference. Presenters spoke about the concern to science and education in our country, created opportunities and its importance in international relations as well as the history of Turkmen-Russian relations in detail. The event was started by the speech of the rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Gulshat Yusupova. The head of the higher educational institution represented the outstanding scientists in the glorious Turkmen history and their contribution made to the scientific achievements all over the world. Participants of the conference, continuing according to the program, acquired interesting information on presented topics. After that, the scientific and practical conference continued its work in the sections entitled “Türkmenistanda halkara ylmy hyzmatdaşlygyň ösdürilmegi — parahatçylygyň we ynanyşmagyň berk binýady”, “Ylmy ösdürmegiň hukuk esaslary”, “Ylym we ýokary tehnologiýalar — durnukly ösüşiň binýady”, “Ylym-bilim ulgamyndaky özgertmeler — jemgyýetiň ösüşiniň hereketlendiriji güýji”. The heads of the sections, together with the guests who spoke, exchanged views on the experience gained in the field of science and education and the work being carried out to develop them.
