SCIENTIFIC-CREATIVE CONFERENCE WAS HELD
On May 26, 2026, a scientific-creative conference titled “The Constitution of Turkmenistan – an Exemplary Path of Statehood, Democracy, and Respect for Human Values” was organized by the “Young Lawyers” scientific club of the Department of International Law and Comparative Law Studies at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. Jennet Ovekova, a deputy of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, made a speech at the event.
The students from the Faculty of International Law of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan attended the conference. In her speech, the deputy spoke in detail about the crucial role of the country’s Basic Law in state structure, the triumph of democratic principles, and the promotion of human rights and freedoms.
This scientific-creative conference provides the student youth an opportunity to expand their knowledge by studying the significance of cooperation in international relations aimed at improving the country’s legislative framework in accordance with the norms and principles of international law.
