Taking into account the commitments arising from the Paris Agreement, a draft of a new planned version of Turkmenistan's climate strategy was prepared and adopted in 2019. The National Strategy of Turkmenistan on climate change is the main tool for expressing Turkmenistan's views in international negotiations and the main document for reports on the fulfillment of obligations under global climate change agreements.
