YOUNG MESSENGERS COMPETED AT THE FIFTH STAGE OF THE INTELLECTUAL GAME
On March 10, 2022, the fifth stage of the first round of the intellectual competition “Young messengers of the world” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The competition “Young messengers of the world” was organized by the School of Young Diplomats of the Institute. This stage of the competition was devoted to the topic “Foreign policy and diplomatic traditions of the state of Khorezmshahs”. On February 21, as part of the fifth stage of the competition, a lecture was conducted for participants in the first qualifying round of the intellectual competition “Young messengers of the world”. The lecture on the topic “Foreign policy and diplomatic traditions of the state of Khorezmshahs” was delivered by the Head of the Department of the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named after Magtymguly of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan Kakajan Janbekov. In his lecture, he told about the history of the state of Khorezmshahs, located on the route of the Great Silk Road, about its domestic and foreign policies and relations with neighbouring countries. During this effective lesson, the contestants learned much about foreign policy and diplomatic traditions of the state of Khorezmshahs.
In addition, on March 9, an excursion to the Institute of History and Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan was organized for the contestants. During the excursion, the participants of the fifth stage were impressed by the information received, and noted that they received very useful information, which also inspired them to further participate in the intellectual competition.
The fifth stage of the first round of the intellectual game was attended by students of the 9th grade of the 87th specialized secondary school in Ashgabat, Atayev Bezirgen, Atayev Annamuhammet and a student of the 10th grade of the same school Ashirov Meylis, students of the 11th grade of the boarding school named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi in Ashgabat Ovezova Arazjemal, Chariyeva Ahumay, Ovezgylyjov Kadyrmyrat and 10th grade student Jahan Yaylymova, and student of the 10th grade of the 16th secondary school in Ashgabat Hudaynazarov Allanur.
As the “Council of Wise Men” of the Competition, Counselor of the Department of European Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Nurberdi Amanmyradov, Academic Secretary of the Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts named after Magtymguly of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, Ph.D. Kakajan Janbekov, chief researcher of the Institute of History and Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, Ph.D. Ata Nuriyev. The fifth stage of the first round of the intellectual competition was held in the “White Yurta of Turkmens”, specially built for holding competitions in the lobby of the educational building of the Institute. During the game, the actors of the theaters of the country played a masterful presentation of historical events related to the state of Khorezmshahs.
According to the results of the competition, the 11th grade students of the specialized boarding school named after Saparmyrat Turkmenbashi in Ashgabat Ovezova Arazjemal and Ovezgylyjov Kadyrmyrat were announced the winners of the fifth stage of the first round of the intellectual competition. The winners and participants of the competition were awarded valuable gifts of the sponsors of the event and relevant certificates and letters of thanks from the Institute.
The sponsors of this stage of the intellectual competition “Young messengers of the world” were the Central Council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly, the National Archery Federation of Turkmenistan, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the open joint-stock company “Abadan haly”, enterprises “Aýdyň gijeler” and “Muhammet Balkan and a private enterprise “Yedi Dogan”.
