International Scientific - Practical Conference “Oguz Han University: Talent, Innovation, Development” Was Held at the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan
In the Epoch of the Revival of a New Era of the Powerful State, Turkmenistan continues to implement comprehensive reforms aimed at advancing science and education, promoting innovative technologies, and fostering young people's interest in scientific research. Within this framework, the International Scientific and Practical Conference entitled “Oguz Han University: Talent, Innovation, Development” was successfully held on 10–11 June 2026 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan.
The conference brought together professors, researchers, and students from higher educational institutions in Turkmenistan and abroad. Representatives of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan also actively participated in the event in an online format. Faculty members and students delivered presentations and contributed to scientific discussions on topics including international relations, economic diplomacy, and the impact of digital technologies on international cooperation.
The conference agenda focused on a range of contemporary issues, including the development of the digital economy, artificial intelligence technologies, innovative solutions, smart systems, cybersecurity, and the enhancement of youth engagement in scientific activities.
Participants emphasized that strengthening the connection between scientific research and industrial development remains one of the key priorities of state policy. In this regard, particular attention was given to the scientific projects, international partnerships, and technological initiatives being implemented at the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan.
During the conference, attendees exchanged views on future directions for technological and innovative development and highlighted the importance of expanding international scientific cooperation. Special emphasis was also placed on the active involvement of young researchers and students in scientific inquiry as a significant factor in strengthening the country’s scientific and technological capacity.
The conference was conducted in a productive and dynamic atmosphere, serving as an important platform for the exchange of scientific experience, the generation of new ideas, and the promotion of international academic collaboration.
