TURKMENISTAN INVESTMENT FORUM: A MODEL OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT
On October 1–2, 2026, the regular “Turkmenistan Investment Forum – TIF 2026” was successfully held in the city of Ashgabat. Organized in the year of celebrating the glorious 35th anniversary of our Sacred Independence, this forum is of great importance in ensuring the socio-economic and dynamically innovative development of our country. This high-level international event brought together more than 300 delegates representing over 200 companies from more than 40 countries worldwide, with a total number of guests exceeding 700.
Faculty members of the Department of International Economic Relations at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan also took an active part in this prestigious forum.
The Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan acted as the main organizers of the forum. The international event was attended by representatives of leading foreign corporations, major international and regional organizations, financial institutions, consulting and rating agencies, as well as international experts. This clearly demonstrates the wide scope of the event and the keen interest of foreign partners in Turkmenistan's economic potential. The forum served as an optimal platform for determining priority areas for attracting investment resources and familiarizing participants with innovative proposals.
In his Address to the participants of the Turkmenistan Investment Forum, the esteemed President expressed firm confidence that this event will contribute to the widespread introduction of modern innovative technologies into various sectors, the implementation of the digital and “green” economy concept, and the intensification of international cooperation.
Held in our white-marble capital Ashgabat, the pearl of Asia, this international forum will make a substantial contribution to the industrialization and sustainable socio-economic development of all regions of the country during in the Epoch of the Revival of the new era of powerful state.
The forum featured a plenary session titled “Investment activity – a key factor in dynamic and sustainable economic development” as well as thematic sessions on areas such as energy sustainability, sustainable transport systems, climate conditions, sustainable agriculture, and investments in the processing industry. Guests, businesspeople, and investors participating in this major international event closely familiarized themselves with Turkmenistan's economic potential, ongoing socio-economic reforms, investment strategy, and the high milestones achieved in industrial and innovative development during the Epoch of the Revival of the new era of powerful state.
Thus, the successful holding of the Turkmenistan Investment Forum in the year of “Independent neutral Turkmenistan − the homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” became another vivid testament to the flourishing of the well-conceived economic strategy whose foundation was laid by Hero-Arkadag and which is being successfully implemented under the wise leadership of the esteemed President.
