Scientific Seminar Held on «Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality: The Foundation of Modern Turkmen Society»
On April 2, 2025, a scientific seminar titled “Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality: The Foundation of Modern Turkmen Society” was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. This seminar was organized by the Department of Social Sciences in connection with the adoption of the Resolution «Turkmenistan’s Permanent Neutrality» at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
Professors and students participated in this scientific seminar. The event was moderated by Ogulgurban Ezimova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences.
During the seminar, various presentations were delivered. Speakers included Novruz Nurberdiyev, Chief Advisor at the International Legal Relations Department of the Ministry of Justice of Turkmenistan and Master of International Arbitration and Business Law; Hangeldi Durdymyradov, Master of Digital Diplomacy; and Davut Gezerov, the second-year student of the Faculty of International Economic Relations.
The speakers discussed the political, economic, environmental, and social significance of Turkmenistan’s status as a permanently neutral state.
