The Opening Ceremony of the Park "XV Years of Independence of Turkmenistan"
On September 13, 2025, the opening ceremony of the newly modernized park "XV Years of Independence of Turkmenistan" was held in the capital city. The event was attended by deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, heads of ministries and departments, representatives of public organizations, the media, respected elders, and student youth. Students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan also took part in the event.
The opening ceremony featured lively performances by joyful children. Musical numbers by children’s creative groups added a special spirit to the occasion. Stage performances by puppet artists were warmly received by the audience. The participation of children’s beloved friend “Aşyr däde” gave the young generations unforgettable moments. At the end of the event, the children were presented with commemorative gifts on behalf of our Hero Arkadag and our esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar. A laser show, accompanied by lively music, further enhanced the beauty of the new park and the evening view of Ashgabat. The colorful scenes, in harmony with the clear night sky of the city, transported the audience for a moment into a magical world.
This modern park, with its architectural design, creates harmony with the social facilities of the capital. It has become a wonderful gift to our people on the occasion of the 34th anniversary of our sacred Independence. The opening of the park is a clear sign that the humanistic principle of our Hero Arkadag “Döwlet adam üçindir!” is being continued under the wise leadership of our esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
The new park offers all the conditions for the young generation to spend their time usefully. Special areas, flower beds, and various gardens contribute to the park’s beautiful appearance. In this regard, we can say with confidence that the park will become one of the most popular places for students. The bicycle paths, resting shelters, and lighting columns provide citizens of all ages with opportunities for cultural recreation.
