THE SUCCESS OF THE TURKMEN ATHLETE
With the youth policy promoted by our Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero
Serdar, all conditions have been created for education, development of young
people's skills and implementation of professional skills. Today, sport has become
an important part of the social life in our country. Turkmen athletes actively
participate in international sports events. Their success in competition at various
levels, awarding medals is clear evidence of our Esteemed President's attention to
the development in all types of sports. As well as all the conditions created to
identify talented people and enhance the skills of sportsmen.
On June 22, 2025, the Central Asian Karatedo Championship (WKF) among
athletes of three age categories - cadets, juniors and adults - concluded in the
capital of Kyrgyzstan. Students from the Institute of International Relations of the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan also took place in this sport
competition and became the winners. Among the winners there were Davut
Nazmyradov, the fourth year student of the Faculty of International Relations, who
took the second place, and Rasul Atajanov, the second year student of the Faculty
of International Economic Relations took the third place.
These achievements vividly demonstrate to enhancing and raising the country’s
reputation and its international prestige in the world. We wish the young sportsman
success in new victories in their sport career. May these distinguished athletes
further elevate the prestige of our nation!
