EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS HIGHLIGHT INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF PEACE AND TRUST
Currently educational meetings were conducted in secondary schools across the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag as part of a planned initiative to explain the significance of the International Year of Peace and Trust. A key events at Specialized Secondary School №4 for with in-depth study of foreign languages in Ashgabat and Secondary School №16 featured instructors and students from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan as speakers.
Speakers, including both educators and students, emphasized that peace, humanism, good neighborliness, and friendship are eternal values inherited from the Turkmen people’s ancestors.
The legal status of Permanent Neutrality for Independent Turkmenistan, recognized by UN General Assembly Resolutions, was highlighted as being in complete harmony with the country’s peace-loving foreign policy and diplomatic principles.
Participants engaged in an active discussion, posing questions and showing keen interest in the meaning of Turkmenistan’s neutrality. The meeting aimed to clarify the essence of the International Year of Peace and Trust, fostering patriotism and fidelity to the ideals of neutrality among the younger generation.
