HOLDING A MEETING ON COMBATING TERRORISM AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING
On December 13, 2024, a meeting was held at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Turkmenistan to discuss opportunities for cooperation in integrating information on combating terrorism and human trafficking into the curricula of Turkmenistan’s educational institutions.
The meeting was attended by representatives from Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Education, the National Institute of Education, the University for Humanities and Development, Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, named after Dovletmammed Azadi.
Participants emphasized the importance of the country’s efforts at both national and international levels in ensuring peace and security, including combating terrorism and human trafficking. During the discussion, proposals were made to in-tegrate the accumulated knowledge in this area into the curricula of the country’s educational institutions.
