A PRESENTATION COMPETITION WAS HELD FOR THE “WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY”
On May 30, 2026, a presentation competition was held among students from all faculties of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan in honor of World No Tobacco Day, organized by the “Young Diplomats” Scientific Club of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy.
The goal of the competition was to raise awareness among young people, students, and the public about the harmful effects of tobacco products on human health, the economy, and the environment. During the competition, students reflected this goal in their presentations. In their presentations, the students also described Turkmenistan’s State Tobacco Free programs and the World Health Organization (WHO) international standards in this area.
At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded with honorary gifts, by the organizing committee based on the results of the jury.
