MEETING HELD WITH US AMBASSADOR
On April 4th, 2022, the students of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan had a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Turkmenistan H.E. Matthew Stephen Klimow. The event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries.
The meeting was also attended by senior instructor of the Department of World Languages of the Institute Maya Orazova. During the meeting, students asked the Ambassador questions about Turkmen-American relations developed for 30 years in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Throughout 30 years, the United States has successfully cooperated with Turkmenistan, partnered with different institutions of the country. Turkmen-American relations are consistently developing by taking into account mutual interests and the desire of the parties to strengthen constructive cooperation and deepen the friendship between our peoples, noted the United States Ambassador to Turkmenistan.
The consistent holding of such meetings is evidence of the enhanced bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the United States.
