AN IMPRESSIVE TOUR
On September 13, 2024, a tour to the National Museum of Turkmen carpets was organized with the participation of female students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. We joined a guided tour of the museum to learn more about the exhibits and turkmen carpet.
During the tour, the specialists of the National Museum of Turkmen Carpets introduced the students to the interior of the museum. This beautiful building, which was opened in 2009 and given to the public, is now not only loved by residents of the capital but also by visitors from all over the world. They noted that it has become the most popular place for visitors and the place where the best carpets of the Turkmen people absorbed by the national spirit of the country, is well-preserved.
Carpets, which have become an integral part of the Turkmen life, are a wonderful monument of the ancient art of our nation has made a huge contribution to the cultural treasure of all mankind. The inclusion of Turkmen national carpet art in UNESCO's list of intangible cultural heritage of humanity is a clear expression of this.
Those who took part in the tour expressed their happiness, for regular organization of such tours has a great impact on the development of the abilities of students who are the future representatives of Turkmen diplomacy.
