TRIP TO THE HISTORICAL MUSEUM
On April 3, 2024, with the participation of teachers and students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan went on a tour to the historical museum of Ak Bugday Etrap which is located in the East of Ashgabat. This tour was particularly important for studying of Turkmen culture and history in the year when the city of Anau was declared as the "Cultural Capital of the Turkic World".
Ancient Anau is one of the most important centers in the history not only Turkmenistan but also in humanity. The city of Anau attracts world’s attention not only for its history, but also with its splendor and great goals for the long-term development. During the visit, the experts gave important information about the history of the monumental complex, and archaeologists’ artifacts within the cultural reserve that were paced in this museum, greatly enriching the information base for youth.
The students saw the first grains of wheat that were found in the territory of the Anau as well as products made of ceramic pottery, various types of wooden dishes copper and other historical artifacts. A trip to the National White Wheat Museum was a memorable experience for the students of our institute, who enjoyed the trip greatly.
