“History - is the light to the future” competition
On May 31, 2023 the competition “History - is the light to the future” was held by Student council and the organization of the “Peace and Wisdom” of the Department of the Social Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. First-year students took part in this competition. In the competition, 6 students of 4 groups competed each other in making a presentation, answering questions during a minute, determining the location of the countries on the map and several other tasks. The competition was held to test the level of students’ knowledge of world history, to highlight the importance of history to our day and to reveal the talents of students. According to its results, the students of the Faculty of International Journalism won the first place and the students of the Faculty of International Relations took the second place. Winners were awarded valuable gifts.
