Interesting sport competitions held between students
On April 24, 2023, chess and table tennis competitions under the slogan “Happy youth with Arkadag Serdar - sport is the main principle of a healthy life” were held at the International Relations Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan together with the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
A number of female and male students studying in our higher education institution, who are fond of chess, participated in it. As it is known, this game of chess is a game of intellect. The chess competition was held as a team mode , where girls and boys competed against each other separately. According to the results of the competitive competition, Azym Yangibaev, 2nd-year student of the Faculty of International Relations, won the first prize among boys. Nepes Durdyev and Guvanch Serdarov, students of the same faculty, took the second and third places, respectively. The competition of the girls was even more interesting. As a result, the first place was awarded to Akgozel Rasulova, 3rd year student of the Faculty of International Relations, the 2nd place was awarded to Lachin Hummedova, 5th year student of the Faculty of International Journalism, and the 3rd place was awarded to Bilbil Berdiyev, 3rd year student of the Faculty of International Economic Relations. The table tennis tournament among the male students was also very impressive. According to the results of the competition, the prize places were awarded to the students who achieved high results. They are: 3rd year student of the Faculty of International Economic Relations Shyhmyrat Soyunov won the 1st place, 2nd year student of the Faculty of International Relations Kerim Baimyradov won the 2nd place and 1st year student of the Faculty of International Economic Relations Ahmet Muhanov won the 3rd place. At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded with valuable gifts, prepared by the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
At present, sport has become one of the priority areas of social development in Turkmenistan. Following the motto “Turkmenistan is a country of health and inspiration”, more and more people of different ages join regular physical education and sports, and international sports events held in the country become great holidays of friendship, which is of particular importance for Neutral Turkmenistan.
