On November 30, 2024, on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality and International Human Rights Day, a meeting was organized by the Department of International Law and Comparative Law of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event featured Myrat Ovezgeldiyevich Khaitov—a pedagogue, lawyer, scholar, Doctor of Law, Honored Lawyer, and Professor of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, Professor Khaitov elaborated on the significance of Turkmenistan's neutrality as an unshakable foundation of state stability and its role in strengthening the fundamental principles of the state. He emphasized how these principles are instrumental in implementing large-scale reforms aimed at a bright future for the country.
Currently, under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, significant progress is being made in this field. Professor Khaitov particularly highlighted the importance of ensuring the constitutional rights and freedoms of young citizens and developing opportunities for Turkmen youth in the interests of individuals, society, and the state. He also discussed the creation of life guarantees, economic and organizational conditions, the formation of well-rounded individuals, and the improvement of the legal framework regulating youth relations within society. This framework incorporates legal norms designed to meet contemporary requirements.
