REGULAR TRAINING COURSE ON WATER DIPLOMACY WAS HELD
On April 11, 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a seminar on water diplomacy titled «International Initiatives and Experience of Turkmenistan in the Field of Water Diplomacy». It was held within the framework of Water Diplomacy, and was organized by the Training Center for Priority Areas of Diplomacy of Turkmenistan.
Gulshirin Charygulyeva, Deputy Head of the Legal and Special Issues Department of the Caspian Sea Institute of Turkmenistan led the course.
During the training session, participants held an in-depth discussion on Turkmenistan’s international cooperation in water diplomacy, the role of water as a vital resource for sustaining human life, global issues of sustainable development, and the key tasks performed by international organizations in the field of water resources.
At the end of the course, students exchanged views with an expert on topics of interest and got proper answers.
