Training Seminar "SCAFFOLD – Skills for a Lifetime" Was Held
On November 23, 2024, a training seminar titled "SCAFFOLD – Skills for a Lifetime" was held at the Turkmen State Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics with the participation of teachers from higher, primary, as well as secondary schools in Turkmenistan. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the Delegation of the European Union to Turkmenistan as part of the regional project "Dialogue and Action for Resourceful Youth in Central Asia" (DARYA) by the European Training Foundation (ETF).
The seminar was conducted during the visit of K.I. Hemschmeyer, the European Training Foundation's (ETF) Coordinator for Central Asia, and R. Turayeva-Hyonen, an international expert and member of the SCAFFOLD methodology team within the DARYA project, to Turkmenistan from November 18 to 24, 2024. The event also saw the participation of experts from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan, and the Delegation of the European Union to Turkmenistan.
The SCAFFOLD methodology involves working with 102 specialized cards and enables teachers to conduct educational activities from planning to evaluation stages. This methodology helps teachers enrich their skills and abilities with essential teaching and development methods.
