MEETINGS AND TRAINING SESSION HELD WITH THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE AUSTRIAN INSTITUTE FOR EUROPEAN AND SECURITY POLICY
On March 11, 2026, a training session was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of Martin Sajdik, a board member and Senior Advisor of the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy (AIES). The session took place between Mr. Martin Sajdik and the Rector of the Institute, G. Yusupova, during which the parties discussed the future of bilateral academic cooperation, with particular emphasis on joint scientific research and the exchange of experience.
During the session, the distinguished guest presented a profound analysis of the most pressing issues in modern international relations, particularly in the field of security and the current state of regional cooperation. In his speech, he emphasized the indispensable role of diplomacy in ensuring peace and preventing conflicts.
At the conclusion of the session, students asked questions concerning key areas of diplomacy. The guest provided detailed answers and highly commended the intellectual level of the youth and their keen interest in international relations.
Subsequently, a meeting was held with experts from the Scientific Center for Strategic Studies of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
