CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE OPPORTUNITIES OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES
On September 25, 2026, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a scientific-practical conference titled “The Significance of Studying the Opportunities of Digital Diplomacy and Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education System,” organized by the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy together with the Institute’s Council of Young Scientists.
The conference was moderated by Gulsenem Hommadova, a lecturer at the Department of International Law and Comparative Law Studies of the Institute. Speeches were delivered by Tofe Hoshanova, Editor of the Editorial Board of the journal “Foreign Policy and Diplomacy of Turkmenistan” of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan; Murat Goshayev, Chairman of the Berkararlyk Etrap Council of Ashgabat City of the Magtymguly Youth Organization of Turkmenistan; Mahriban Garayeva, a lecturer at the Institute; and Mamajan Sahetliyeva, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of International Relations.
The speeches highlighted of integrating digital technologies to raise science and education to higher, advanced levels, and expressed views on the work conducted by Turkmenistan in the field of digital diplomacy. Furthermore, the significance of holding contests aimed at increasing the interest of the country’s talented youth in science, education, and new technologies was highlighted.
At the conclusion of the conference, the participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and the esteemed President Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the opportunities created to strengthen the Independence of our Motherland and implement large-scale reforms in the country.
