Online Meeting on Digital Education, Digital Economy and Cybersecurity
On March 14, 2025, in accordance with the Action Plan for digital
education, the digital economy, and cybersecurity approved by the Ministry of
Education of Turkmenistan, Yagshigeldi Kakayev International University of Oil
and Gas hosted an online conference to share best practices in information
technology and cybersecurity among higher and secondary schools in
Turkmenistan.
The online conference was held by Tirkesh
Atagarayev, Head of the Department of Informatics and Information Technologies
at the Yagshigeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas. He delivered a
presentation titled “The Status of Training and Research Activities at the
Department of Informatics and Information Technologies”. The event was attended
by instructors, specialists, and heads of departments from the Institute of
International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan as well
as from various higher and secondary schools across the country. Participants
enhanced their knowledge in this field through a question-and-answer exchange
session with Tirkesh Atagaraev and other experts.
The regular organisation of such online
conferences between higher and secondary schools will further enhance the
effectiveness of efforts in these areas.
