Russian Cinema and Animation Week
From June 3 to 5, 2024, in the cinema of the shopping and entertainment center "Berkarar," located in our capital Ashgabat, the Week of Russian Cinema and Animation will be held on the occasion of the Day of the Russian Language. Students of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, along with residents of Ashgabat and their guests, actively participated in the national event. On the opening weekend, a master class and various competitions for children were held. The exhibition, featuring a specially organized photo zone, gave a special mood to the week.
During the week, movie lovers will have the opportunity to watch the new works of Russian film makers and the best animated films in the cinemas "Ashgabat" and "Berkarar."
As reported by the press service of the Embassy of Russia in Turkmenistan, cartoons like «По щучьему велению», «Я делаю шаг», «Три богатыря и Пуп Земли», «Руслан и Людмила. Больше чем сказка» were shown. The organization of the Week of Russian Cinema in our capital will be another evidence of the constant strengthening of cultural ties between the two friendly countries.
