High-level meeting
On April 19, 2022, a meeting was held between the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Malaysia in Turkmenistan Mr. Khairul Hazri Bin Arefi and the rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan J. Gurbangeldiyev. During the meeting, the sides noted about the high-level friendly relations between the two countries and exchanged views on further expanding the scope of cooperation in the field of education in the future. The rector of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan told about the history of the Institute, its structure, the fruitful work of the departments, their international cooperation and the educational and research centres operating at the Institute.
In his turn, Mr. Khairul Hazri Bin Arefin made a speech about the Institute for International Relations and Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia and its experience in the education system. In addition, in his speech, the representative made a number of proposals for further development of cooperation between our Institute and Malaysia.
After the meeting, a tour was organized for Mr. Khairul Hazri Bin Arefin, who briefly got acquainted with the museum, the German library, the Turkish library and the recently opened Indian Corner, including the training studio and the yurta (Ak oy of our Institute.
