A training lecture was held with “Young Messengers of Peace”
On January 28, 2022, a lecture was held with the participants of the 4th game of the first round of the intellectual contest “Young Messengers of Peace”, which will be held on February 15, 2022, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
J.Orazgylyjov, a researcher of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, gave a lecture on the theme “Seljuk Diplomacy and their diplomatic traditions”. In this impressive lecture, the schoolchildren shared their questions. So, in the course there was a stage performed by the students of our Institute based on the novel “Seljuks” by the writer Osman Odayev. The capture of the Byzantine emperor Roman IV Diogenes by Sultan Alp Arslan after his victory in the Battle of Malazgirt, his negotiations with him, and the diplomatic traditions of that time were staged in the scene. This impressive lecture was very useful for the schoolchildren who qualified to participate in the intellectual competition.
In addition, within the framework of the program of the School of Young Diplomats under the organization of the Institute, a talent contest on “Foreign Policy of the Seljuk Turkmen State” was held on January 25 with of the participation of first-year students.
