The test also included questions assessing logical thinking and intellectual abilities.
Covering a range of subjects, the test gave participants an opportunity to apply the knowledge they had acquired at school, compare information and draw their own conclusions when answering questions. Combining knowledge of history and culture with foreign languages and logical thinking is important for broadening young people’s outlook and developing their analytical skills.
The «Young Messengers of Peace» intellectual competition helps to develop young people’s interest in international relations and diplomacy and deepen their understanding of peace and cooperation. The qualifying test is an important stage in preparations for Season VI and is aimed at identifying knowledgeable and talented secondary school students.
