LECTURE DEDICATED TO INITIATIVES OF TURKMENISTAN
On September 16, 2026, a lecture organized by the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The lesson was dedicated to the significance of Resolutions adopted by the UN General Assembly on the initiative of Turkmenistan. Students of the Faculty of International Relations attended the event.
The lecture was led by Professor Amangeldi Rahmanov, Head of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan, and a master diplomat of Turkmenistan.
During the session, Professor A. Rahmanov delivered a detailed presentation on how Turkmenistan’s international initiatives receive widespread support within the UN framework. He emphasized the vital role these resolutions play in ensuring global peace, security and sustainable development. Furthermore, the lecture highlighted the key vectors of foreign policy of Turkmenistan, which are rooted in permanent Neutrality and effective cooperation with international organizations.
At the conclusion of the event, the students expressed their gratitude to the master-diplomat for his engaging presentation and asked questions of interest. Such systematic lectures provide future specialists with valuable opportunities to enhance their knowledge and practical experience.
