ONLINE TRAINING SESSION WAS HELD FOR VOLUNTEERS
On September 30, 2026, an online training session was held in accordance with the Volunteer Training Program designed to prepare volunteers and translators for international political, scientific, cultural, and sports events planned in Turkmenistan. The initiative marks the declaration of 2026 as “Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”, the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence, and the country’s chairmanship of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
During the session, Jemile Purjayeva, senior lecturer at the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, delivered a presentation titled “Communication with the Mass Media. Media Culture”. She provided detailed insights into establishing effective communication with media representatives and foreign journalists during international conferences, as well as the essential norms and ethics of modern media culture. The training was attended by selected student volunteers from higher education institutions of Turkmenistan, including the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
Throughout the session, student volunteers asked relevant questions and received comprehensive answers. The training proved the students’ knowledge of mass media interaction and media culture preparing for active service in upcoming international forums.
