Magtymguly, the Poet of the People
On June 25, 2024, within the framework of the Culture Week held in Arkadag city, a briefing titled “Magtymguly, the Poet of the People” was conducted with the participation of journalists from Teleradio and young students. Present at the briefing were the Chairman of the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography A. Kakayev, the representative of the Radio and Television Association of Turkey in Turkmenistan Ugur Sami Gezer, the head of the “Arkadag” TV channel of Turkmenistan’s State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography P. Kakabayev, the representative of Russia’s “ITAS-TASS” news agency Oleg Pavlenko, the head of the “Mahabat” Directorate of Turkmenistan’s State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting, and Cinematography R. Velmiyev, the head of the Cinema Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan M. Erkinov, and S. Janmammedova, a lecturer of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, who presented their views on cultural values. The briefing “Magtymguly, the Poet of the People” aims to enrich the intellectual heritage of our society, particularly assisting the intellectual development of the youth.
