PRESENTATION CEREMONY OF THE NEW BOOK «MAGTYMGULY – DÜNÝÄNIŇ AKYLDARY »
On January 4, 2025, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan organized a presentation ceremony of the new book «Magtymguly – dünýäniň akyldary» by our Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event was attended by the heads of diplomatic missions of foreign countries in Turkmenistan, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, professors, teachers, and students.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the Rector of the International Relations Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Gulshat Yusupova, gave a speech, emphasizing that the new work of the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlights the great literary legacy of the famous poet, his immense contribution to world culture, and the events related to the poet’s anniversary. She noted that this wonderful book is a worthy gift to the people of Turkmenistan.
Next, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, delivered a speech. The event also featured speeches by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Turkmenistan, Azizbek Madmarov; the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Turkmenistan, Wafo Niyatbekzoda; the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of India to Turkmenistan, Ms. Madhumita Hazarika Bhagat; the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan, Rawshanbek Alimov; the Senior Scientific Researcher at the Institute of Language, Literature, and National Manuscripts named after Magtymguly of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, Gyzylgul Tagandurdyyeva; and the Senior Lecturer at the Department of Theory and Practice of Journalism of the International Relations Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Oguloraz Eyberdiyeva, John MacGregor, Head of OSCE Centre in Ashgabat.
The speakers emphasized that the sage poet’s creative legacy is an inseparable part of the world cultural heritage and noted that the newly published book «Magtymguly – dünýäniň akyldary» dedicated to the poet is a great gift to the entire Turkmen people and brotherly nations on the threshold of the New Year.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, an Addressing speech to the esteemed President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov was adopted on behalf of all participants of the book presentation ceremony.
