LECTURE ON SUSTAINABLE ENERGY
On April 29, 2024, a lecture on sustainable energy, energy efficiency and renewable energy development was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The representatives of the European Union project “Sustainable Energy Connectivity in Central Asia” (SECCA), the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, lecturers and professors, as well as students of our institute attended this lecture.
The lecture was delivered by international consultants of SECCA project Agris Kamenders and Nicolae Zaharia, as well as Candidate of Technical Sciences, Director of the “Renewable Energy Sources” Research and Production Center of the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan Kakageldi Saryev, Nurmuhammet Allanazarov, Senior Researcher of the Research and Production Center “Renewable Energy Sources” of the same institute . The speakers touched upon the issues on the promotion of energy efficiency and industry in buildings, and the role of energy service companies (ESCOs) in promoting energy efficiency, the study of international experience in the development of renewable energy use, as well as software for the development of renewable energy use in the regions of Turkmenistan.
