A Visit of Representatives of the “Yonhap” News Agency of the Republic of Korea
On June 29, 2026, a delegation led by Son Do-hyun, a correspondent for the “Yonhap” News Agency of the Republic of Korea, visited the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The delegation arrived in Turkmenistan to promote the strategic significance of the upcoming inaugural “Central Asia-Korea” summit within the Korean media landscape and to prepare specialized media coverage on the flourishing Turkmen-Korean bilateral relations.
As part of the visit, the guests toured the institute’s advanced academic infrastructure and expressed high appreciation for the nation’s educational standards. They specifically visited the Museum of the History of Turkmen Diplomacy at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the UNESCO Club “Culture of Peace”.
The participants emphasized the historical importance of the friendly and constructive relations between the two nations, highlighting the mutual benefits of expanding exchange programs and fostering professional collaboration among young specialists and diplomats in the future.
