A training has been held on the occasion of the International Day of Peace
On 21 September 2022, on the occasion of the International Day of Peace, a training was held by the Department of the World Languages of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The event, with participation of students of the Faculty of International Journalism, was conducted by a teacher of the Department of the World Languages Maya Chariyeva.
Today, development and strengthening of friendly and fraternal relations with the countries of the world is one of the most important priorities of our country`s foreign policy. Mutually beneficial cooperation, in the context of expansion and deepening relations of our Independent, Neutral State with countries of the world, is steadily developed. Our country is actively involved in peace policies worldwide, and supports it based on neutral principles.
It should be noted that at the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly, on the initiative of Turkmenistan, 2021 was declared as the "International Year of Peace and Trust".
Celebrated since 2002, the International Day of Peace was declared by the General Assembly of the United Nations to promote world peace among all countries and peoples. On the occasion of this day, solemn events, conferences and trainings are held all over the world.
