CLOSING CEREMONY OF THE INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE AND II INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION WAS HELD
On May 14, 2025, at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was held a Closing Ceremony of the International Scientific - Practical Conference “Foreign Policy and Diplomacy of Turkmenistan: Cooperation for the Sake of Peace, Safety and Sustainable Development” and awarding ceremony of II International Competition “International Relations: Culture of Peaceful Dialogue”. These events were conducted as a part of implementing the set of tasks set for the scientific and educational community of the country according to the Concept of Priority Directions of Turkmenistan and according to the Resolution “2025 - the Year of International Peace and Trust” adopted by the United Nations at the initiative of Turkmenistan, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations, meeting the 30th anniversary of Neutrality Turkmenistan, and on the purpose of revealing the talented youth, encouraging them, strengthening friendly relations among them. Representatives of the scientific and higher educational establishments from different countries all over the world, including the United States of America, the Kingdom of Belgium, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Kyrgyz Republic, the People's Republic of China, the State of Qatar, Uzbekistan, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Romania, as well as professors and instructors from higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan took part in these international events.
Heads of sections: “Peace-building Principles of the Policy of Neutrality: National Experience of Turkmenistan”, “Economic Diplomacy is and Effective Tool for Cooperation in the Field of Sustainable Development”, “Cultural Diplomacy: National and Universal Significance of the Principles of Humanitarian Relations” and “World Experience in Training Specialists in the Field of International Relations: Scientific, Education and Teaching Activities” made speeches on the results of the International Scientific-Practical Conference. As well as, the results of II International Competition “International Relations: Culture of Peaceful Dialogue” was announced during the event. According to the results of the competition, the participants won 21 gold, 35 silver and 54 bronze medals. Moreover, the students of the National School of Turkmen Diplomacy were awarded 2 gold and 3 silver medals. Then followed the Awarding Ceremony of the winners. An Appeal to the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, was adopted on behalf of the participants of the International Scientific-Practical Conference and Competition. The celebration concluded with a musical concert prepared by students’ Performance Group of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
