A training seminar dedicated to the educational significance of the work «Jewel of the Mind»
On May 20, 2025, an educational seminar was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the participation of first-year students of the Faculty of International Economic Relations. The purpose of the seminar was to explore the meaning and content of the section titled "Visit to History" from the remarkable book “Jewel of the Mind” of the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero Arkadag.
The seminar was led by Mahrijemal Mamedova, a senior lecturer of the Department of International Economic Relations.
During the session, economics students were presented with engaging information about the rich cultural heritage, national values, and ancient historical monuments of the Turkmen people. In particular, discussions based on the section “History Begins Here” which describes the new work presents scientific data on political and trade relations of the Altyn-Depe, Margush, Seljuk and Horezmshakh states with their close neighbors. According to these data, Turkmens have been following the principles of peace and effectively applying preventive diplomacy since ancient times.
Information about architectural monuments located along the Great Silk Road in Turkmenistan also helped deepen students’ historical understanding of the country’s ancient trade and economic routes and the development of its construction culture.
