SEMINAR ON DIGITAL COMMUNICATION WAS HELD
On April 7, 2025, a seminar on digital communications was held at the Institute of
International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, on the
occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality and the declaration
of 2025 as the "International Year of Peace and Trust" by the UN General
Assembly, as well as in accordance with the goals of the Concept of Activities and
Priorities of Turkmenistan within the Framework of the International Year of
Peace and Trust. The seminar was held by Professor of the Department of
International Relations and Diplomacy, Doctor of Sociological Sciences
Ovezdurdy Muhammetberdiyev, who gave a lecture on the topic "Turkmenistan's
Foreign Policy of Neutrality - a Model for Countries of the World".
Students from all higher educational institutions of the country took part in the
seminar, organized through the digital communication. In his speech, Ovezdurdy
Muhammetberdiyev noted that the status of permanent neutrality is the foundation
of the state foreign policy and the basis for the implementation of Turkmenistan's
peacekeeping doctrine in the international arena. Every day in our country is filled
with important events of national and international significance, indicating that in
the era of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state, Turkmenistan continues to
steadily follow the constructive foreign policy course initiated by the Hero
Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and successfully implemented under the
leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
At the end of the seminar, Ovezdurdy Muhammetberdiyev noted that by
demonstrating commitment to the principles of positive neutrality, peacefulness
and good neighborliness, our Fatherland makes a concrete contribution to the
development of equal and fruitful cooperation that meets the goals of common
well-being.
