ONLINE DEMONSTRATION CLASS HELD
On February 12, 2025, an online demonstration class on the topic “Philosophical
Foundations of Turkmen Neutrality” was held at the Institute of International
Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The lesson was
dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality, the
declaration of 2025 as the "Year of International Peace and Trust" by the UN
General Assembly, and in accordance with the Concept of activities and directions
of Turkmenistan during the International Year of Peace and Trust. Ogulgurban
Ezimova, a Senior Lecturer, and a Candidate of Philosophy of the Institute of
International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan
conducted the demonstration class. Students attended the demonstration class from
all higher and secondary vocational schools in our country.
At the beginning of the demonstration class, a Senior Lecturer, Candidate of
Philosophy, Ogulgurban Ezimova emphasized that during its short history,
Independent Turkmenistan has accumulated unique experience in living in
harmony with all states and peoples, developing friendly and fraternal relations,
and becoming a world-renowned center of reconciliation. She also noted that the
re-adoption of the Resolution “Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan” at the 69th
session of the UN General Assembly on July 3, 2015, is vivid evidence of this.
In the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, Turkmen neutrality
remains an important guarantee of political stability in the world, the protection of
national interests, and the development of friendly and fraternal relations. The
lecturer emphasized that neutrality is a doctrine that promotes world peace,
encourages happiness, and spreads the principles of humanity throughout the
world. She also mentioned that the National Leader spoke extensively about the
broad and profound philosophical significance of the principle of neutrality.
Additionally, the Candidate of Philosophy highlighted that Turkmenistan presents
a new philosophy of neutrality to the world community, advocating humanism,
peacefulness, openness, trust, improved international relations, and large-scale,
long-term cooperation in solving global problems—not only in the Central Asian
region but throughout the world.
At the end of the lesson, the students received answers to their questions.
