The ceremonial event dedicated to the Independence Day
Every year, the Independence Day of Turkmenistan, is widely celebrated not only in our country, but also by the diplomatic missions abroad of the country. In the year «The Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi» the glorious 33rd anniversary of our sacred Independence was celebrated on a grand scale at a ceremony organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Dushanbe.
The event featured distinguished guests from the Tajik side, including the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and representatives from the Ministries of Culture, Agriculture, Energy and Water Resources, Transport, Industry and New Technologies, Education and Science, as well as rectors of higher education institutions, leaders of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, and heads of accredited diplomatic missions in Tajikistan.
During his speech the Ambassador of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Tajikistan Aymyrat Gochmyradov emphasized the comprehensive development of Turkmen-Tajik relations during the years of independence, the traditions that unite the two peoples, and the cultural and spiritual closeness. A special video showcasing achievements in Turkmenistan's domestic and foreign policy over the last 33 years, international initiatives supported, and significant milestones achieved across all sectors left a remarkable impression on the attendees. The performance of the poem of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag «The Fount of Wisdom Magtymguly Fragi», by a Tajik Turkmen singer created memorable moments for the guests. Additionally, national Tajik songs were also performed.
A large-scale exhibition showcasing our national culture, jewelry, applied arts, and traditions was organized, featuring images that reflect Turkmen culture. Notably, special attention was given to the books of Hero Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar in the exhibition.
In particular, a special place was given to the books of our Hero Arkadag and the esteemed President. At the end of the ceremony, words of gratitude were addressed to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag and our Respected President, who are carrying out exemplary works in our country’s foreign policy and diplomacy.
