SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO INDEPENDENCE DAY
On September 22, 2026, a scientific-practical conference titled «Garaşsyz Türkmenistanyň gülläp ösüşinde daşary syýasatyň ähmiýeti (The Significance of Foreign Policy in the Prosperous Development of Independent Turkmenistan)» was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, dedicated to the glorious 35th anniversary of our sacred Independence. Representatives of scientific institutions, along with the institute’s professors, faculty members, and students, actively participated in the event.
At the plenary session of the scientific-practical conference, presentations were delivered on the following topics: «Directions of Development of the National Legal System during the Years of Independence», «The Volunteer Movement, its History, and Current Activities in this Field», «The Development of Digital Mass Media in the Period of Independence», and «Independence and Turkmen Diplomacy: Developments and Youth». The speakers proudly emphasized that Independence has formed a reliable foundation for a powerful, dynamically developing state that enjoys high prestige worldwide, and that immense work has been accomplished over the past 35 years to strengthen the foundations of our democratic, legal, and secular state.
Following the plenary session, the scientific-practical conference continued its work in sectional meetings. Comprehensive presentations on relevant topics were delivered in sections titled «Independence – A Solid Foundation for Developing International Cooperation», «The Formation and Improvement of the Legal System of Independent Turkmenistan», «The Significance of the Development of Turkmenistan’s International Economic Relations during the Years of Independence» and «Turkmenistan’s Independence – The Stable Foundation of Our Motherland’s Prosperity». As noted, our motherland greets the next glorious date in our national calendar with new labor victories in the year of «Independent, Permanent Neutral Turkmenistan – The Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses». Each of these achievements is written as a special page in the annals of Independent Turkmenistan.
Thus, this scientific-practical conference uniquely merged with the grand celebrations of Independence Day, enhancing the students’ sense of pride in this momentous date. The participants of the scientific-practical conference expressed their profound gratitude to our Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar.
